Palm Beach

I’m afraid this photo set is very limited in range because my family and I were essentially bound to the hotel and its environs (i.e. the restaurant located next door) following a very upsetting car accident. Hoping to get ample beach time during the July 4th holiday, we fled to Palm Beach, Florida. Approximately four hours after landing, a raging SUV crashed into my friend’s poor car as she was driving us to the hotel. I can now say that I have been:

1) Sassed out by a woman with a weave akin to Bon Qui Qui’s
2) Strapped to a backboard in an ambulance
3) Called “Matthew”
4) Instructed to drink CAT scan preparation liquid “like it’s vodka”
5) Told that there was no additional damage done to my already damaged head (I can’t exactly remember what the doctor said, but that’s basically what he implied when I asked if there was anything wrong with my head.)

Good times. After being detained at the hospital for roughly five hours, we were finally released. Everyone was ok. The next three days were filled with soreness, nausea, painkillers, and room service.

So without further ado, please enjoy these photos that failed to capture my true Floridian experience.
